This was a good book and I did enjoy it. Hendee’s writing is pretty clear. However, I enjoyed the bolod of Eleisha as a character. I almost skipped because of the cover, which is just over the top. The plot set up on the back cover serves more as a catalyst then anything, driving a mediation on what it means to be immortal, different, a vampire?
