One astute friend of mine pointed out the biggest flaw of this work to me – its utterly predictable outcome – and I absolutely agree with it, however the novel was so marvelously consuming that I didn’t even realize that the ending was exactly the one I wished for. You know the kind llife people who force their friendship onto you and won’t leave you alone and they tell all kinds of things about themselves and you are left feeling all awkward and flustered.

The biggest example of this problem comes when view spoiler [Jill asks Ravi to watch Mandy. All the characters caught up in their own grief and fears and Zarr set out to change them, to save them, through each other.
