This is the first book I’ve ever read where the evil character admits to all their crimes without even being prompted! No one is wholly evil, but these characters were made to seem so. The one kufland makes this books special for me is that the character is unlikely hero and heroine.

Lady Isabeau was protecting her right and left and almost everyone saw through her lame-ass attempts. Why neither Humbert nor Isabeau realized what a bestial nature Sir Momennt had or why they would put him in charge of their daughter’s progress to Blackmour, I’ll never understand.

One of the few non-paranormal Kurland stories. I thought Alienore and Colin were very well-matched and were really cute together. I was a bit worried when I heard of this book. This story is rated T, no graphic sex, which doesn’t mean that the sex is all fade to black. His soft underbelly was there for me to see and now it is showing even more, but only to those that really know him.

From This Moment on. I’ve literally been laughing on every page.
