I guess it’s fair to include the textbooks I read as books I read. My only real complaint is that, in the name of readability, sometimes the book authors deviate a bit too far from standard terminology.

It’s fantastic both as a textbook and otherwise. Amazon Inspire Digital Educational Resources. They are not official but answers seems to be correct.
But if you want to know about problem solving with algorithms and crafting your own algorithms from scratch then go with this book. The problems are all really good, too.

You must learn to run the full race to compete. The biggest issue is that the authors assume a high degree of “obviousness” in problems. If you want a reference book to sit on your desk for later use, by all means use CLRS.

Heck, if you don’t do the exercises and just use it for reference you couldn’t do better. No trivia or quizzes yet. My best guess is that this was re-typeset by hand, by a non-technical person using MS Word, so they simply messed it up badly.
